From 10 to 12 March 2026, Certimac will be among the key players at JEC World in Paris, the most important international event dedicated to the composite materials industry. The show will be held at the Parc des Expositions in Paris Nord Villepinte and brings together every year the main stakeholders across the supply chain: industry-leading companies, innovative startups, academic experts and R&D professionals.
Certimac will be exhibiting at the Tecnopolo Ravenna stand, Hall 5 – Stand C79, alongside other partners from the Tecnopolo di Ravenna e Faenza: ENEA, the Laboratory of Ceramic and Composite Materials for the Manufacturing Industry, and CNR-ISSMC, the Institute of Science, Technology and Sustainability for Ceramic Materials Development.
JEC World is far more than a trade fair: it is the place where global trends in the composites sector are shaped. With a packed programme of technical conferences, innovation awards and thematic areas spanning aerospace, automotive, marine and construction, the event offers a unique opportunity to experience the latest technological breakthroughs firsthand, forge synergies with strategic partners and expand one's international network.
At JEC World 2026, Certimac's experts will take the stage with a clear focus: advancing durability, sustainability and circularity in composite materials. As a research centre specialised in testing and characterisation, Certimac supports a wide range of industries -from construction to automotive - with advanced expertise in high-performance composite optimisation, thermo-physical characterisation and numerical modelling.
This integrated approach enables Certimac to work side by side with companies in the development of innovative materials for advanced industrial applications, from the initial research phase through to final product qualification.
Among the research and development projects in which Certimac is involved as a partner, a prominent place belongs to CAMPRES: a 30-month initiative co-funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region under the PR FESR 2021-2027 programme. At the heart of the project is the development of polymer matrix composite materials (PMC) for lithium battery enclosures, with applications in the automotive sector and energy storage.
The composites being developed within CAMPRES must ensure high-level protection under critical conditions, combining fire resistance with the potential for efficient, cost-effective mass production.
The Tecnopolo Ravenna stand will be a meeting point to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, discover the most innovative solutions and explore the strategic role of research and certification in composite materials. The Certimac team will be on hand to present their expertise in characterisation, laboratory testing and technical consultancy.
